Semiconductor Laser Test Engineer BinOptics
Responsibilities:Design, set up and support of test and measurement equipment for semiconductor laser production and research and development work
Construct free space optics, electronics, and computer controls
Generate mechanical drawings and circuit board layouts
Independent data analysis and presentation of results
Develop systems and methods for testing fully processed wafers and individual laser die
Perform optical and electrical measurements from DC to GHz frequencies
Work within ISO, and SPC process guidelines
Other Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent with significant electronics experience
Use of Optical measurement equipment including OSA, power meter, integrating sphere, and photodiodes
Use of Electrical measurement equipment including current, voltage, and power meters
Experience with LabView/GPIB software and systems is essential.
MS Office experience, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Access
Motion Control and Automation Experience a plus
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
