Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer - Design, develop, and test semiconductor fabricating processes for circuits and fixtures to assure product and process quality. Evaluate manufacturing processes applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, and equipment installations to troubleshooting. Implement preventative production equipment maintenance procedures, including issues regarding software failures. Improve process efficiency by accurately documenting maintenance activities and the tracking of spares through the Facilworks Database. Confer with equipment vendor technical staff and solicit observations from internal customers. Required education: BS- or equivalent in EE, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related. -In lieu of a BS degree employer will accept two years of work experience as a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. Electrical Equipment Maintenance Engineer, or Electronic Equipment Engineer in lieu of a bachelor?s degree.. Required work experience: 2 years as a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer or 2 years as a Sr. Electrical Equipment Maintenance Engineer, or Electronic Equipment Engineer. Additional requirements: work experience to include: 1.) Electronic engineering with semiconductor fabrication techniques; 2.) Production test area improvement processes; 3.) Semiconductor engineering technologies including HP, FastPa.MCT, NS6000, Ismeca NT, and Ismeca NX; 4.) Engineering support to research lab and production floor on multiple platforms. 40 hours/ week.
