THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing manufacturing test stations in the wafer fab as well as the deployment of new test equipment and procedures. In this position you will maintain calibration system and SPC protocols, identify and implement improvements to equipment and procedures, test of new software and hardware solutions and maintain software (revision control, deploy code updates, etc.). In addition you will be responsible for updating test documentation: procedures, manuals, and work instructions, coordinating and implementing test-related ECO activities, including set-up of scripts and maps for new part numbers, and reviewing new tools/vendors for next generation/improved wafer test tools. You will provide first level troubleshooting and repair of test stations and may train and certify test technicians and operators. Additionally you may assist in supporting off-site installations and training of test equipment. Some evening and weekend support of fab production testing activities and troubleshooting will be required.
Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering or extensive (5+ yrs.) semiconductor industry experience, basic to intermediate LabVIEW skills, knowledge of high speed test processes in a manufacturing environment, and experience with semiconductor wafer test and measurement. You should possess strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience handling sensitive electrical/optical components, familiarity with database tools and basic data analysis tools (Excel), familiarity with GPIB and RS-232 communications and basic knowledge of SPC. Ability to travel internationally up to 5% of the time is required.
