Full-time Position
Senior 3D Rendering Software Engineer to a join a team developing algorithms and software for static and dynamic holographic displays.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
Advance the state of the art of rendering holograms.
Participate in the definition and development of a new 3D holographic display.
Participate in the development of a new 3D point cloud rendering system.
Maintain and enhance the current tools for static hologram production.
Contribute to system test and validation plans.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Expert level C++.
OpenGL and GLSL expert, must be familiar with both older and newer (3.x, 4.x) versions of GL as well as recent extensions. Ability to demonstrate proficiency with advanced OpenGL either through previous demos/sample applications or an in-depth presentation.
Passion for pushing graphics hardware to its limits for unconventional projects and applications.
Previous experience writing and debugging x86 and SSE intrinsics or assembly.
Strong understanding of 3D math (matrices, vectors, quaternions, intersection tests, coordinate systems as used in the 3D pipeline).
Experience with performance- and throughput-oriented multi-threading.
Familiarity with various 3D model formats and 2D image formats, preferably with experience writing importers/exporters.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency with advanced OpenGL either through previous demos/sample applications or an in-depth presentation.
Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum 8 years programming experience required.
