Senior Account Executive PeopleMatter
Position Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities within our strategic accounts sales division of PeopleMatter. This position will rapidly acquire new, major account clients by presenting the PeopleMatter SaaS ecosystem through innovative sales processes, manage client relationships, seek out and document client requirements, and development of revenue generation through our direct sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for generating new leads that result in new client acquisition.
Seek and follow up on all inbound leads to acquire new business
Sell value and ROI and manage PeopleMatter messaging
Develop thorough understanding of each account?s industry and business.
Design and deliver presentations highlighting the products offered by PeopleMatter
Use understanding of internal processes and resources to effectively execute the sale
Create and maintain detailed files on all current and potential customers
Ability to articulate a customized value proposition to two very different audiences: HR and C-Level Execs
Develop a strategic plan for identifying key customers and how to penetrate their vertical market
Serve as the key point of contact for new & future accounts
Track and record sales activities in Sales Force Automation tool and provide regular status reports to the Senior Management team
Balance customer needs with corporate objectives
Learn and develop a deep knowledge of PeopleMatter products and services
All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor?s degree from an accredited four year college
Two or more years of experience positioning, selling and/or implementing complex technology and/or software solutions. Preference given to those with experience selling SaaS/PaaS
Domain expertise in the Human Capital Management space is a plus
Proven success and track record in creating effective sales strategies that meet and exceed sales quotas
Excellent communication skills with the ability to propose clear, compelling and value-focused solutions
Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast paced environment
Good business acumen, experience with basic contracts and pricing
Experience utilizing sales tracking tools
