Senior Account Executive - Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices ON24

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify lead sources and sign contracts with c-level and VP-level executives, such as CMO, CEO, CIO, VP Marketing, and VP, Corp. Communications, within targeted market segments.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes and recommend solutions based on customer needs and sell appropriate solutions.
- Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place.
- Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in and/or selling to companies in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Medical Institutions space.
- Experience working with or sell to Agencies, Publishers, Associations specific to Life Sciences.
- Excellent writing skills / experience responding to major enterprise RFPs.
- Experience closing and managing major strategic accounts with penetration into multiple client groups within the organization.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of combined experience selling B2B end-to-end solutions to at least one of the following verticals: Fortune 1000/Hi-tech, Financial services. Prefer candidates that have worked for web cast companies.
- A proven track record of developing new business relationships with executives and senior management (c-level).
- Experience with contract or renewal sales while exceeding sales quotas.
- Sales training and experience with solution, consultative, strategic and/or conceptual selling is required. Miller Heiman training experience is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of the Internet and Sales databases.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. (MBA preferred)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to sell opportunities to prospective customers.
- Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services.
- Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills and oral communication skills .
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
