Senior Account Executive - Strategic Accounts ON24
ON24 has an exciting opportunity for a true Strategic/Major Accounts pro. We are seeking an individual who thrives on driving growth at major accounts, with an emphasis on strategy and long-term relationships. This individual will join a team supporting one of our largest global clients. Core responsibilities include significantly growing ON24?s business with the account by nurturing current relationships, proactively calling and pitching new contacts/groups, and consistently selling the value of ON24 as well as maintaining current key relationships and lines of business.
The Senior Account Executive will work closely with the Strategic Account Team and will be a key contributor to developing and executing a global strategy for this account.
This is a highly visible position that presents opportunities for advancement for the right candidate. The SAE is responsible for selling the full spectrum of ON24?s solutions and will be expected to develop a deep knowledge of our products.
The SAE will be based in our San Francisco corporate headquarters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Strategic Account Team to develop and execute sales strategies for a top tier global client
Maintain existing relationships at all organizational levels
Farm existing lines of business to identify new opportunities
Proactively outreach to new lines of business to secure demonstrations/meetings with key decision makers, prepare and present appropriate proposals, recommend solutions based on customer needs and drive new revenue opportunities.
Anticipate client needs and exceed client expectations for all ongoing projects and new business opportunities at all times
Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms
Accurately forecast business opportunities, communicate with management regarding the forecast and manage/update SDFC and other Account-specific sales tools
Meet and exceed individual and team sales objectives set by the company
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years of account management or direct sales experience in the B2B space with demonstrated success in solution sales - online publishing/advertising, consulting services, enterprise software or SaaS, or other products/services sold into marketers and corporate communications.
Specific experience selling to enterprise marketers will be a big plus
Experience closing and managing major strategic accounts with penetration into multiple client groups within the organization.
Demonstrated experience developing strong business relationships with all levels of enterprise organizations
Highly developed organizational, planning and management skills
Excellent writing skills / experience responding to major enterprise RFPs
Superior oral communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements
Professional experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong technical aptitude
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
