Profile and Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive (Strategic Sales) to create digital advertising partnerships across multiple brands and initiatives. Successful representatives will persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Undertone?s key clients. This will be done through anticipating how vital business decisions are made, and understand how our range of digital advertising solutions can enable advertisers to engage consumers across desktops, tablets and smartphones.
Manage the ownership of a series of accounts in their given territory. Accounts are made up of a mix of influencers and decisions makers including Advertising Agencies, Advertisers, Creative Agencies and Strategy teams
Based on a strong command of the product offering; make agency and client level sales calls to present Undertone?s services and articulate how Undertone can fulfill client needs
Builds strong relationships with agencies and clients in order to increase revenue through the sale of Undertone?s digital media products; relationship building activities include entertaining and regularly communicating with clients to develop the account and/or share industry related information and insights
Works with Planning/Pre Sales to create proposals based on RFPs, and work through the sales process following the Undertone sales methodology from proposal to close Post-sale
Stay aware of the performance of clients? campaigns through the Client Services team
Builds camaraderie in the Sales team that supports team selling and a performing work environment
Represents Undertone?s value proposition throughout Undertone and the community
4 - 6 years strategic/solutions sales experience
Experience in the Cloud/SaaS based software markets
Experience selling a subscription based model preferred
Ability to effectively analyze market opportunity at a territory and customer level
Create associated territory and account plans
Proven experience in closing $5M-$15M contracts
A strong aptitude for technology and the role the Product and Product Marketing teams play in support
Excellent communication skills
Excellent and compelling presenter skills with a natural ability to hold strategic conversations and adjust to varying audiences
Ability to work across multiple teams internally
Extremely organized, ambitious, creative, analytical, and pro-active
