Job Description:
Prospect, Develop and Close a continuous pipeline of opportunities
Identify, penetrate, and acquire new business
Managing full cycle sales deals to closure
Maintain account, opportunity, and track sales activity in SFDC
Accurately forecast business, sales pipeline, and proper opportunity stages
Achieve and exceed quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Calling and emailing executives at all levels to facilitate deal closure
Deliver online presentations and demonstrations with the support of sales engineers
Desired Skills & Experience:
Self-motivated, Hunter mentality and a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
Ability to penetrate and develop new business over the phone
Demonstrate capacity to gain customer commitments and execute solution selling
Ability to balance transactional business with larger enterprise opportunities
Experience selling to CTOs, CIOs, and VP Development/Engineering, and the developer community
Experience selling application servers and developers tools a plus (JBoss, mySQL, Oracle, Weblogic, Wily, Websphere, Rational)
SaaS experience within a high-velocity business preferred
Having worked at companies like Oracle, BEA, Borland a plus
Experience in start-up environments a plus
Familiarity with salesforce.com
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree
5+ years quota carrying, successful software sales experience (SaaS preferred)
Track record of over achieving quota
Technically adept, with ability to position new technology quickly
Direct, Channel and new business sales experience
