Senior Account Manager

Description: The Senior Account Manager position at Convio is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction for many of Convios largest, non-profit clients. As a Senior Account manager you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and leverage Convios software and services to maximize their results. Ideal candidates for this position will have experience working with non-profit organizations and have experience using technology to drive client success.

Candidates for this position must be based out of our Washington, DC office.


Primary Responsibilities:

- Nurturing the client relationship to strengthen the business value to both parties.
- Creating and executing Client Success Plans to define key client goals for clients use of Convios products and services.
- Leveraging requirements for how Convio products, services, and best practices can deliver value to the client and help them meet their key goals.
- Managing client expectations by working with Convio stakeholders to ensure resources are optimally applied.
- Ensuring successful, high quality delivery of all Convio services throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Engaging proactively with internal stakeholders to address and resolve client issues.
- Growing and extending Convios partnership with their clients.


Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to relate complex client scenarios to best practices and case studies
- Superior communication and presentation skills, demonstrate business savvy skills.
- Ability to translate organizational needs to tactical Convio and client action objectives (delivered through the Client Success Plan)
- Able to work effectively in a cross functional, team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop value propositions and positioning an organizations best practices and preferred technology to create winning client solutions.
- Ability to earn client confidence through asking astute and germane questions, demonstrating knowledge of clients organization and vertical, and show understanding of competitive landscape for client and Convio.
- Thorough understanding of eCRM and CMS and best practices. Ability to relate complex client scenarios to best practices and case studies. Understands clients' short- to mid-term business needs.
- Strategic mastery of Convio Online Marketing and/or Convio products is a plus.
