The Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and assume responsibility for the day to day management of the accounting function. This position will assume primary responsibility for all general ledger entries and reporting, the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, monthly account reconciliations, cash posting, intercompany accounts/foreign exchange, and internal analysis.

Position Description:
- Assist with and ultimately lead the monthly closing process
- Calculate monthly expense accruals
- Assist payroll dept in recording payroll for 13 entities to the General Ledger
- Prepare quarterly intercompany transfer pricing calculations
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and foreign exchange differences
- Maintain schedules of fixed asset additions and depreciation
- Review select outgoing A/P expense payments and wires
- Prepare consolidated trial balance for multiple international subsidiaries and related financial statements
- Prepare monthly variance analysis reports
- Prepare detailed account analysis & reconciliation
- Assist the Controller with special projects
- File quarterly sales and use tax returns for multiple states
- Assist with various international and domestic audit requests
Expected Background:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting; CPA a plus
- 5-8 years relevant accounting experience
- Highly detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ? this role requires a lot of interaction
- Strong work and accounting ethics
- Advanced Excel (macros), Great Plains, FRX, a plus
- Significant intercompany transaction and/or foreign currency experience a plus
- Act with the highest integrity and professionalism in all their endeavors
- Utilize superior analytical and problem-solving skills
