Job Description
The Senior Accountant will support the daily accounting and financial needs of the company. In this
role, you must be willing to perform all recurring tasks (however ?unglamorous? they may be) required
of an extremely small accounting and finance team. In return, the variety of special projects and
planning for growth will provide for a plethora of opportunities to gain new skills. The position
responsibilities are as follows:
? Prepare Monthly financial statements.
? Complete Bank reconciliations and journal entries.
? Perform General ledger reconciliations.
? Take a key role with budget preparation and business modeling.
? Prepare weekly and monthly budget to actual variance reports and other analysis reports
? Perform technical accounting research as needed and provide supported conclusions for
review and inclusion in the companies permanent files
? Assist with treasury functions, including the weekly cash flash report
? Take on Ad Hoc reporting for Operations management.
? Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors and consultants, as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
? BS/BA Accounting or Finance required.
? 2-4 years Corporate Accounting or Auditing experience in Software/Technology
? Public accounting experience preferred.
? Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
? Excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment.
? Strong organizational skills; attention to detail while at the same time being able to see the
bigger picture.
? Highest of ethical standards.
? Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
? ERP knowledge ? SaaS-based GL package experience preferred.
