Key Responsibilities:
-- Monitor and manage financial records
-- Perform and/or direct as required, accounts payables and receivables processes
-- Calculate and analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
-- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
-- Perform various other financial transactions for the preparation of financial statements
-- Manage the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management and the Board of Directors
-- Prepare working papers for financial audits
-- Provide and implement recommendations for procedural improvements
-- Monitor and improve the implementation of accounting internal controls
Qualifications:
-- Reliability
-- Self-starter
-- Professional with excellent communication skills
-- Solid work ethic
-- Technology interest and aptitude
-- Analytical to troubleshoot complex issues in accounting
-- Highly detailed oriented and organized in work
-- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
-- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting policies and regulations (revenue recognition in particular)
Experience:
-- 5+ years accounting / finance experience
-- CPA designation preferred
-- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
-- Experience in software industry preferred
-- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is highly desirable
-- Proficiency with using and managing mid-sized financial ERP application
-- Proficiency with using Intacct and Salesforce.com is desirable
