Senior Accountant at Jaspersoft in Boise, ID Jaspersoft

Position Summary

Jaspersoft seeks a Senior Accountant to assist with world-wide accounting and reporting. We are seeking a hands-on individual in our Boise, Idaho office with relevant experience in accounts payable, software revenue recognition, royalty reporting and general ledger accounting in a multi-currency and multi-company environment. The position reports directly to the Corporate Controller, with daily exposure to the CFO and Executive team.

Essential Functions

• Perform complex accounting functions, including processing accounts payable bills/payments, preparing journal entries , generating sales/royalty reports, performing bank reconciliations, quantifying month-end accruals and government reporting.
• Manual entry and import/export of data into General Ledger.
• Provide support to outside auditors.
• Assist with special projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years demonstrated accounting experience.
• Advanced in Excel and web-based accounting/reporting applications.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Treasury/cash management experience highly preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
