Senior Accountant Commercial Credit Group
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data is recorded and reconciled, with an emphasis on debt arrangements and inter-company transactions, for a growing Commercial Finance business.Job Duties include (but are not limited to):
Record monthly settlement statements for multiple revolving and term debt facilities.
Record interest expense, amortization of fees, unused fees, subordinated interest, swaps, and other interest items in a timely manner.
Create and maintain monthly interest detail reports for review by Treasury Department.
Record debt facility collections account activity for various bank accounts weekly or more often if needed.
Record monthly debt facility service fees.
Reconcile multiple debt accounts across six companies.
Responsible for recording and reconciling inter-company transactions intra-month and at month-end.
Assist with preparation of monthly cash-flow statement.
Reconcile numerous cash accounts weekly and monthly.
Responsible for monthly allocation entries.
Prepare monthly trial balance reports.
Assist with preparation of subsidiary financial statements as needed.
Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
Assist with monthly creation of balance sheet lead schedule.
Support loan processing by acting as back-up for booking deals, processing machine closeouts and full closeouts.
Assist with multiple lender audits and annual GAAP audit as needed.
Conduct special analysis on an as requested basis.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required.
5 - 7 years experience in Accounting.
Finance experience preferred.
Demonstrated PC skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast- paced environment.
