The Billtrust Senior Accountant?s primary responsibility is to assist in preparation of financial reports, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other reports, as required.
? Support the preparation and review of company financial statements by gathering data and analyzing information and deliver such reports accurately and timely.
? Accurately prepare Journal entries and maintain schedules to support entries
? Prepare balance sheet account analysis
? Develop and implement accounting procedures- analyze current procedures; recommend changes
? Respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
? Utilize strong communication skills to assist in collecting customer payments
? Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verify information.
? Review of periodic Federal and State tax filings including, use tax, property and quarterly and year end income tax returns
? Assist with the third party auditors during the year
? As a hands-on and detail oriented Accountant, complete all the above responsibilities within deadlines
Qualifications and Skills
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting is required
? Three to seven years of Accounting experience is required
? Supervisory experience is a plus
? Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Excellent excel skills and experience in other financial software
