Job Description
ChannelAdvisor is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player to join the Revenue Accounting team
This job requires interaction with several internal departments (such as Human Resources, Legal, Engineering, Operations, MIS, FP&A, and Marketing), external auditors, and consultants to maintain the accounting records for the company. This position reports to the Controller.
Job Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for:
Helping to maintain and review the Cash, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Other Assets, Accounts Payable, Accruals, Debt, and Equity accounting areas
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and established procedures
Completing monthly reporting and account reconciliation requirements
Promoting an environment of continual improvement in procedures
Research accounting issues and create technical memos surrounding their treatment
Prepare monthly cash flow statements and consolidations for the company
Required Skills
CPA license preferred
Prior management experience preferred
Consolidation accounting proficiency
Foreign exchange accounting proficiency
Ability to create cash flow statements from multiple currencies
Detailed record-keeping (accuracy is a must)
Motivation to improve business processes
Strong communication skills with several levels of employees
Proactive approach to workload management
Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and assist team members
Knowledge of US GAAP
Positive attitude
