Senior Accountant Streetline Networks
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Streetline is looking to fill a Senior Accountant position to report to the Finance Director. We are looking for a finance/accounting generalist eager to dive into multiple areas of the company?s finance and accounting operations. You will contribute to the development of the financial function and support the entire suite of Streetline products, services, and customers.
Streetline is making smart cities a reality through sensor-enabled mobile and web applications, starting first with smart parking. We just closed our Series C $25M financing, and we?re actively seeking to grow our team to enable the Internet of Things for smart cities.
The Senior Accountant will have responsibilities in multiple areas, including:
Reconcile all bank accounts on a regular basis. Initiate wire transfers and follow up on approvals. Monitor accounts for sufficient funds. Transfer money as needed.
Assist in preparing board presentations, financial presentations, analysis, and other projects requested by senior management
A/P & Purchasing
Enter bills and and do periodic check runs.
Work closely with our contract manufacturer and other suppliers to order parts, ensure timely payment, and accurately account for purchases.
Project Assets/Fixed Assets
Maintain parts list and updated costs. Reconcile inventory with reports from subledger system.
Assist outside CPA firm with preparation of Federal & State Income Taxes. Register in new states as the business expands, and prepare local periodic filings. Prepare Sales & Use tax filings.
Consolidate the results from international subsidiary. Properly account for currency fluctuations.
Assist with any special projects such as accounting software migration and others as needed. Implement expense report automation and tracking software.
4+ years experience in full charge accounting. Past experience at a big four accounting firm with exposure to an infrastructure business is a huge plus.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft environment.
Comprehensive, well-rounded accounting skills
Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting systems, like NetSuite.
Solid understanding of how the principal financial statements relate to one another, and how any specific journal entry would impact each statement
Impeccable integrity, ethics, business judgment, and confidentiality.
High energy. Very detailed.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
