We currently have an opening for a Senior Accountant in our Sunnyvale, CA location. This person will be a high-energy individual with a ?can-do? attitude and who enjoys improving existing processes as well as implementing new ones. As an individual contributor, this person will be counted on to manage multiple responsibilities and keep various accounting and finance tasks running smoothly.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Full cycle accounts receivable ? cash posting (enter and match AR transactions), work with the collection department on unapplied payments, reconcile credit card payments, and work closely with the Treasury Department to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions. Back up Accounts Receivable Sr. Accountant on calculation and invoicing of carrier receivables, royalty payables and other items as the business grows and changes.
Ensure approval policies are followed.
Maintain positive internal customer and vendor relations while being conscious of the company?s cash flow position.
Support the AP-AR Sr. Manager with the following:
Create and enter journal entries as requested
GL account reconciliations
Support auditors during year-end audits
Ad hoc projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent
8+ years experience in accounting
Proficient in Oracle R12 or other ERP
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years external audit experience desirable
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organized and efficient
Team player, dependable and flexible
Attention to detail
Quick learner who enjoys change in a fast paced environment
