Senior Accountant EnVivo Pharmaceuticals
This position is envisioned as a direct report of the Director of Accounting, as an accounting leader in areas of alliance management, budgeting/forecasting/reporting, and establishing appropriate control environments in areas of primary responsibility. This individual will liaise with colleagues across both the EnVivo and Fidelity organizations in driving results.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide reporting support for all domestic and international board meetings; subcommittee meetings of the board; senior management; functional managers and project leaders. Liaise with IT to ensure rapid dissemination of information to various constituencies.
Facilitate accounting for contractual agreement with partners and subsidiaries in compliance with GAAP, and generate all necessary correspondence, including invoicing, tax filing support, financial statements, etc.
Facilitate contract review process in finance and accounting, including obtaining all necessary internal and external approvals.
Establish and modify Accounting Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control Procedures as necessary.
Work in collaboration with Accounting, R&D Finance to support the monthly forecasting and annual planning/budgeting process.
BS, Accounting minimum
7-10 years? experience in life science industry with knowledge of the drug development process
Understanding of budgeting/forecasting processes in a matrix organizational environment
Strong preference for candidates with experience working with foreign subsidiaries of a US parent organization
Strong preference for individual who worked directly in facilitating budget and forecast submissions
Candidate in a life sciences company with late stage clinical programs
Knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition standards a plus
