Senior Aerospace Application Engineer Exa
POSITION PROFILE:Exa Corporation?s growing Aerospace Applications Team seeks an additional Aerospace Application Engineer to support deployment of our unique technology in the US aero-space market. You will be part of this worldwide Aerospace Team and report directly to the Technical Manager of Aerospace Applications. You will play a key role in delivering several projects in multiple aerospace applications ranging from aerodynamics, aeroa-coustics and thermal flows. Your high motivation and personal skills will help achieve our challenging objectives. Primary responsibilities will be:
? Develop and present strong technical analysis and design recommendations to clients with real-world problems.
?Be customer?focused, very responsive, and develop a strong level of trust with customers and know-how to add value in a customer support situation.
?Act as a key link between our customers and Exa?s product development team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? US Citizenship required.
? BS or MS in Engineering discipline, Aeronautical Engineering preferred.
? 1-5 years aerospace industry experience.
? 1-2 years experience using CAE Tools (preferably CFD) and/or conducting experimental studies particularly in the area of aerodynamics, aeroacoustics or thermal flows.
? Solid knowledge of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics.
? Familiarity with CAD, CAE applications and geometry post-processing.
? UNIX/LINUX skills, script programming and experience with complex graphics tools.
? Strong English written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
? Strong desire for continuous learning.
? Professional and team oriented focus.
? Knowledge of MS Office and working under Unix/Linux on HPC systems.
? Availability for US domestic (20%) and occasional international travel to customer sites.
