The Shopper & Retail Insights group at InContext Solutions is responsible for delivering on custom market research engagements that provide impactful insights to help guide the business strategy of our clients. Working within the Shopper & Retail Insights team, the Senior Analyst will act as the insights lead on a variety of custom virtual market research projects for several Fortune 500 clients. He/She will work with key members of the InContext team through all phases of the research process including design, execution and analysis. This person will be responsible for working across the company to drive effective and actionable results forward to our clients. Candidates must be ambitious and have the desire and ability to make a difference in a fast growing environment.

The Senior Analyst will report to the Vice President of Shopper & Retail Insights. He/ She will be a part of the ten-person Insights team. Day to day, he/she will work with various cross functional members of their account team, including senior members of the Sales, Project Management and Technology teams. As an important member of the account team and a key client point of contact for projects, the Senior Analyst must have a strong understanding of our clients? needs and how InContext?s solutions can help solve them.
When will I start? What will I make?
Ideal candidates will be local (based in Chicago) and have availability to start a new full time position in the next 3-6 weeks. The interview process should take no more than 2-4 weeks from initial phone interview to offer letter. We are happy to discuss compensation including base salary, bonus targets and equity in the initial phone interview.

Minimum Bachelor Degree in a Marketing or Social Science related field (with quantitative emphasis) or related degree with emphasis on Statistics or Quantitative Research Methods. Many of our analysts majored in the following: Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Marketing, Communication Studies
2-4 years of market research experience
Experience working with CPG (Consumer Package Goods), Consumer Electronics, Retail and/or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) end clients
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of quantitative research design, including questionnaire development, estimating incidence, data analysis, etc.
Experience working directly with end clients and is comfortable in a client facing setting
Comfortable with pulling data, supporting the project, and other day-to-day project tasks
Has a track record of success working with cross functional teams and co-workers at all levels in a fast paced setting
Has proven project management and organizational skills
Is entrepreneurial, intelligent, and passionate about what they do
Is friendly and likeable. We wouldn?t hire someone we wouldn?t like to sit next to on a plane for 12 hours.
