Senior Analyst Thinkvine

The person in this position is responsible for the timely build of the Agent Based Models that inform the ThinkVine planning software. This involves data collection, reporting, model building and reporting of results to the Manger and Director. This is not a primary, client-facing role; however, the Senior Analyst will attend key project meetings and may be asked to manage some client-facing activities in preparation for advancement.
Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst is responsible for building client models with some guidance from Manager and/or Director. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Building agents, project files, and media plans in a timely fashion to meet client timelines with some direction and guidance from Manager
Creating and managing data summaries and charts associated with the project - The Senior Analyst is responsible for data accuracy and making sure it is correctly input into the model
Coordinating with the Manager and Director on updates pertaining to the model build. The Senior Analyst will share all pertinent updates on MAPE, awareness, impacts, etc. with the team on a timely basis
Notifying the Manager or Director when issues arise so that they can be handled appropriately
All responsibilities covered during the initial model build will be carried through for client software updates
The Senior Analyst does not own the client relationship, but will attend all relevant meetings taking notes and creating materials for presentations. The Senior Analyst may also present to clients where the opportunity presents itself.
The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for contributing his or her experiences to better training and process development, as well as helping to on board new Analysts

Skills & Abilities
Has the intelligence and curiosity necessary to dig deep within the client's data stream in an attempt to better understand the situation being modeled.
Has an attention to detail relating to large data sets to help minimize error and rework associated with a model build.
Has the foresight to consider how the client will utilize the software in an attempt not to build barriers to use or unnecessary complexity into the model.
Is comfortable taking direction from the Manager and Director in order to improve his or her performance.
Is able to deliver against timelines associated with the software build and ongoing subscription maintenance.
Has the ability to operate independently, seeking guidance from the Manager when necessary.
Has demonstrated mastery in working with the highly technical V2 software platform.
Critical Success Factors
Reliable and consistent delivery of models that are error free and delivered in a timely fashion.
A level of mastery with the ThinkVine Agent Based Model software that is recognized by Managers and peers.
Works independently in most areas of responsibility as measured by Managers and peers.
Experience
A college degree in statistics, mathematics, economics or other technical field is a must. Masters degrees are preferred.
People with 3 to 5 years of related work experience are preferred.
