Workday is looking for a Business Operations Sr. Analyst in the Cloud Operations organization which provides core infrastructure/data center services to Workdayâs SaaS solution. The team is looking for a highly analytical individual looking to manage operations planning activities with growing responsibility. These activities include (but not limited to) budget and spend planning, datacenter and infrastructure footprint plans, and strategic project management. In addition, this person must have a keen eye for detail, be able to provide insights based on large (and sometimes incomplete datasets) and have an eagerness to drive change and alignment within the organization.

Overall, the responsibilities associated with this position will scale based on a personâs experience and level of hire and represent the following
â¢Â Â Â Own end-to-end budget planning, management and reporting processes for the organization
â¢Â Â Â Lead efforts to develop hardware demand, data center capacity and resource models
â¢Â Â Â Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems, Dev and Finance teams to build and manage forecasts
â¢Â Â Â Manage the spending plan by working with groups across the organization on future spending needs
â¢Â Â Â Develop business metrics and reports to improve real-time decision making
â¢Â Â Â Build tools to improve forecasting capabilities
â¢Â Â Â Identify and drive process improvement opportunities based on operational analyses
â¢Â Â Â Support resource planning for initiatives and projects across the organization
Skills and Experience:
â¢Â Â Â Experience in business planning or analytically demanding role with few years in management consulting, strategic or financial services preferred
â¢Â Â Â Proven experience in managing large datasets, developing insights from ambiguous data and facilitating team decisions
â¢Â Â Â Working knowledge & understanding of technology, tech infrastructure and cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
â¢Â Â Â Strong communication (written and verbal) and cross-functional organizational skills
â¢Â Â Â Keen eye for continuous improvement
â¢Â Â Â Bachelors degree or equivalent with coursework in Engineering, Operations or Finance. MBA preferred
â¢Â Â Â Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with SQL, Visio, Access
