The Opportunity
This is an exciting role for an experienced researcher to help lead a member-based research consortium that brings together deans and director-level executives in Continuing and Professional Education and Online Higher Education departments at top public and private universities across the country. This role provides an opportunity to become a thought leader by working with a broad range of institutions in the development and application of research that serves both the overall profession and the needs of individual clients.
The Senior Analyst will further develop and expand Eduventures' intellectual capital in areas including programmatic growth opportunities, optimizing online operations, and marketing and recruitment of adult learners. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work directly with clients to deliver customized solutions, using Eduventures intellectual capital. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for providing thought leadership and mentorship to a team of researchers that work to fulfill the program's research agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Senior Analyst role include, but are not limited to:
- Helping clients diagnose and address routine and strategic challenges, as part of an ongoing relationship
- Presenting and discussing customized intelligence with clients, both face-to-face and remotely
- Managing and conducting qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research to analyze the key issues and trends facing member institutions
- Providing thought leadership to clients about current and future key issues in continuing and professional and online higher education
- Working directly with clients to assist them in making key strategic and operational decisions
- Serving as a subject-matter expert and consultant to clients and colleagues
- Planning and implementing content for an annual client meeting
- Representing Eduventures at third-party industry events and to the media
- Mentoring and serving as a resource to junior staff members
Requirements
- Master's degree; Ph.D. or doctoral candidate highly desirable
- Articulate, mature, self-starters with 5+ years experience in market research, consulting, and/or higher education
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills and ability to execute and deliver high-quality and on-time research for clients
- Well-developed verbal communication and client relationship management skills
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to scope and frame issues
- A strong disseminator of information in a variety of settings
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated interest in higher education
- An interest in working in an entrepreneurial company environment.
