Overview
The Senior Analyst, Data Integration, will manage finance data quality and systems integration, from initial processing of raw billing data through invoice creation and distribution to customers. Equally comfortable developing requirements, managing and remediating data and troubleshooting programming, this position will serve as liaison between the Billing and Business Systems teams and further a ?value-add,? customer?focused service philosophy. Responsibilities
? Acquire expert knowledge of IntraLinks contracts and billing data path from billing event extraction through invoicing, including data configuration, validation of data elements, data path infrastructure integrity, and systems integration to allow current manager to focus on new systems and functionality.
? Review and manage contract and systems data, identifying issues and areas for improvement, and setting standards for processing and QA of invoicing data.
? Manage the physical invoicing process, partnering with other team members to assure complete reconciliation of invoice batches between systems. Work with developers to add new functionality and integrations between current and future billing systems to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
? Work with business systems to translate business requirements into specs and code using VBA, SQL and other technologies. Create business and technical requirements for consolidated reporting across multiple billing systems
? Responsible for code review, testing, debugging, deployment, and support of VBA and SQL development and support of VBA and SQL daily operations.
? Conduct root cause analysis of problems, recommend and manage appropriate solutions. Escalate and resolve technical issues and receive guidance from other departments to facilitate the resolution of problems.
Basic Qualifications
? Education: B.S. in MIS, CS or Finance and significant business experience
? Minimum years? experience- 7 or more years of related experience in data, systems integration and app dev utilizing VBA, Advanced Excel, SQL / MS database technologies in a financial environment.
Desired Qualifications
? Solid understanding of finance, billing, monthly close cycles and revenue management, with demonstrated history of developing solutions to improve business performance.
? Full SDLC project management exposure preferred, with ability to create detailed design specifications and specify coding requirements based on defined business logic.
? In-depth knowledge and experience programming using VBA / Excel macros, SQL, Salesforce.com (SOAP, AJAX, WSDL,) stored procedures and reporting, Java, HTML, Web Services and financial applications such as Oracle Financials, Zuora or Great Plains.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization as necessary to gather requirements and resolve outstanding issues
? Independent self-starter with ability to produce results without close supervision
