Senior Analyst Relations Manager Jive Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Jive?s corporate marketing and strategy team is looking for a talented and hard-driving individual to lead the company?s global analyst relations program. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to formalize an analyst relations program for a company and product platform already recognized as the category leader by prominent market analyst firms, while expanding the current program to other key market influencers and thought leaders. As importantly, this individual will act as a hub for regularly communicating intelligence from the analyst community back into Jive ? ensuring key stakeholders within the company are kept up to date on market trends and the competitive landscape.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software, with demonstrated understanding of technology and excellent communications skills. This individual must be able to balance the strategic delivery of an AR plan against key objectives and success measurements, while executing with tactical excellence. The position reports into the Chief Communications Officer, and is based in the company?s Palo Alto headquarters.
Formalize the global analyst relations function at Jive, including annual planning, strategy, resourcing and measurement.
Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with top-tier analysts, while broadening the program to reach other key industry influencers.
Develop mechanisms for regularly communicating key business updates and developments to the analyst community.
Develop a program to regularly delivering intelligence and insights from the analyst community to key stakeholders within Jive.
Own development and management of a dedicated analyst track at Jive?s annual user conference.
Plan and execute smaller analyst engagements, briefing tours, strategy days and site visits.
Manage contracts and sales relationships with analyst firms, ensuring Jive leverages all deliverables to maximum advantage.
6-8 years of technology-related communications experience that includes direct analyst relations experience.
4+ years of AR experience directly interacting with Gartner, Forrester, IDC and other major industry analyst firms, including proven track record for managing the process around Magic Quadrants and MarketScopes, MarketScapes and Wave reports.
Experience managing the planning and execution of analyst events.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communications skills, sound technical knowledge, and a genuine interest in industry trends.
Ability to synthesize, interpret and summarize third-party analysis and research for cross-functional audiences.
Undergraduate B.A. or B.S. degree is required.
