Description
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented database analyst with excellent SQL skills and experience working large datasets. The position will participate in a wide variety of Analytic efforts, including the development/support of custom, client-facing analytics as well as business intelligence efforts. A strong candidate will have experience designing and producing client-ready reports using relational/aggregate databases, as well as be able to build ad-hoc datasets to support custom client requests.
Essential Job Functions/Activities
Develop code, data tables and reports to support client-facing custom analytics
Create efficiencies through automation or enhancement of existing processes
Aid in the design and creation of data/reporting systems for media modeling and optimization efforts
Actively participate in the development of complex data initiatives, including gathering of requirements, technical specifications and prototyping
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (computer science, statistics or related)
3-6 years experience in an analytic development or related role (online a plus)
Experience using SQL to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
Good knowledge of data visualization and reporting best practices (experience with Tableau or similar data viz tools a plus)
Able to work directly with end users to ensure results meet their needs
Strong communication skills and desire to work in cross-functional groups
