The Jive Big Data team is looking for an experienced senior analytics engineer with a passion for finding meaning in massive datasets. Our team works extensively with open source software on big data, social graph, and machine learning problems. You will have the opportunity to work with various big data open source technologies: Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Flume, Neo4j and other open source projects. You must have solid software development and testing skills, strong systems experience, and great people skills.Minimum Job Qualifications
A BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
Expert knowledge using SQL for standard as well as ad-hoc data mining and analysis purposes.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience with creating and interpreting map-reduce style data analysis.
Strong experience with a variety of BI tools and platforms.
Hands-on experience with Hadoop, HBase, Pig or related open source systems.
Experience with large distributed data and systems.
