Senior Analytics Solutions Engineer Zilliant

Zilliant is currently searching for a Senior Analytics Solutions Engineer to join the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: develop and customize Zilliant's template data-warehouse implementation, develop and test views/reports in Zilliant's Analytics application, act as a technical implementation team member on broad, complex and critical engagements to configure and integrate Zilliant's pricing software, elicit and help the customer articulate business requirements for data analysis, translating them into feasible technical designs.

Description of Function and Responsibilities:
Design and implement Zilliant's baseline data-warehouse using industry accepted best practices
Develop OLAP data cube to be used by Zilliant's Analytics application
Work closely with other developers, DBA's and functional pricing analysts
Work with client personnel to produce and help refine business requirements
Work at Zilliant's Austin facility as well as at customer locations
Estimate, design, implement, and document full ETL process from customer staging to data-mart to application

Experience Required:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related is strongly preferred
A proved record of facilitating Analytics software deployments and data-mart configurations (hands on experience with MicroStrategy is a plus)
5+ years database development (SQL, ETL, OLAP, data-marts)
SQL Server 2008 including Analysis Services and Integration Services
Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment
Strong communication skills
Some travel required

Preferred Experience:
Some Java Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Object-Relational mapping tools (Hibernate, Toplink, etc.)
Third party Analytic applications (MicroStrategy, Tableau preferred)
Experience with pricing applications a plus
