The Opportunity: Do you dream of electric sheep? If so, W3i may be a perfect fit for your skills. We are looking for candidates who eat bytecode for breakfast and don't do anything without first firing off an Intent. A deep knowledge of native Android development, strong Java coding skills, and experience working with RESTful services are a must. The ideal candidate likes to move fast, to solve problems, and to play ping pong. Experience with mobile UX or Android performance optimization a definite plus.

General Summary: The Senior Android Engineer architects, codes, and tests software to meet the company's business objectives, while adhering to development standards and principles. Additionally, the Senior Android Engineer mentors other software engineers and takes on more complex software development tasks.
Essential Job Duties:
Translate complex business requirements into software solutions which entail all factions of the Agile Software Engineering life cycle explicitly; design, development, testing, implementation, and refactoring. Often serves as a resource to other team members in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
Participate in daily standup meetings, bi-weekly sprint planning meetings, and other discussions or meetings related to requirements, design, security, and quality of related software systems. Provides input based on expertise in software development, best practices in industry, and proficient knowledge of the business.
Routinely supports the Team Lead by working with stakeholders to plan development stories.
Routinely manage source control, project builds, and perform application deployments.
Secondary Job Duties:
Attend training, seminars, and workshops as deemed necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Four or more years of related experience
