Senior Billing Systems Engineer Boingo Wireless
As a Senior Billing Systems Engineer, you will provide leadership for billing development projects and provide tactical and strategic solutions to meet company objectives. You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and have a willingness to jump in and get things done in a timely manner.Responsibilities:
Work with development teams to review system changes and ensure success of maintenance releases.
Use investigative skills to track down the cause of an issue based on reporting symptoms.
Use creative thinking to identify short-term as well as long-term strategies.
Responsible for day to day operations of the billing, customer care and business intelligence technology systems.
Provide technical and user documentation as needed.
Requirements:
Must have Oracle BRM experience
Must have Business Objects Data Management Services experience.
Must have Telecom billing experience, especially usage based billing.
2+ years of designing and developing software systems.
SQL and Oracle database experience.
Must have working knowledge of any of the following languages: Perl, C. Java or Ruby.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
B.S. Degree or equivalent experience.
