Senior Build/Release Engineer Courion

To help us extend our lead in the Identity Management market, Courion is seeking a Senior Build and Release Engineer to be an integral part of the Engineering team, taking a role in delivering new and enhanced functionality for Courion's line of products. As a Senior Build and Release Engineer at Courion, you will work in a fast-paced, flexible environment with responsibilities across the full range of activities required to deliver industry-leading enterprise software to market, from configuring and administering software version control applications and systems, producing and ensuring the quality of software builds for delivery to Engineering, developing and qualifying software installation procedures and collaborating with the Software Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Publications teams.
Candidates are expected to have at least 5 years of professional experience working as a Build and Release Engineer, Software Developer, or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
We are looking for self motivated engineers who are looking for a challenging career delivering enterprise class software. You will be working in a Scrum / Agile software development team where all team members share responsibility for design, development, test planning, test execution and documentation of the product.
Requirements:
Proven track record of managing a SCM system in an enterprise software company on Microsoft-based infrastructure
Experience using MS TFS, Windows Server and SQL Server highly desired
Help define best practices for source control, branch / merge strategies, continuous integration, automated testing and release management
Performing mission & time critical tasks to support the development life cycle, including creating new branches, maintaining access management to SCM
Designing, developing, testing, debugging, maintaining and improving product installation packages
Prior experience with InstallShield is desired
Work cross functionally with engineering, product management, support, services and other groups to strategize, plan and resolve issues
Monitoring, reporting on operation of automated daily builds of multiple development branches
Investigating and diagnosing problems affecting build automation
Creating, monitoring & maintaining build server virtual machine infrastructure
Investigating and diagnosing issues with installation both internally and at customer engagements
Ability to lead and mentor individuals on SCM related activities
Ability to provide accurate schedule estimates for their work and then execute their tasks on or ahead of plan
Excellent organizational and written communication skills
Education:
BS in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or Mathematics.
