Job Description
Voltari?s Senior Business analyst will be an integral part of the Business Intelligence team working closely with the sales, marketing and product teams to complete a robust analysis around market trends, market sizes, and competitive landscape with a clear understanding of customer segments.
They will be responsible for building a Pricing and Yield Optimization function for Voltari media and its various product lines. The yield manager will also be the project lead in preparing statistical analyses, narratives, tables and charts to understand and provide management commentary on market and industry trends.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize key objectives, in combination with Sales and Product Management, and provide actionable insights regarding pricing and inventory optimization.
Establish a baseline rate structure that will be adjusted based on product offering as well as market and industry trends.
Create analytic frameworks and functional models to analyze the, products, pricing structures, inventory management, and ultimately sales and revenue optimization.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with superior attention to detail.
Monitor exchange bids to ensure maximum fill rate is achieved while also maximizing margin.
Will work closely with all members of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team to complete responsibilities.
Required Experience
Education, Skills and Experience:
BA in Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field.
+3-years? experience with increasing levels of responsibility; online, mobile oriented experience desirable.
Experience applying advanced analytic disciplines to financial, and product-level modeling, forecasting, pricing, etc.
Extensive business partnering and influencing skills, coupled with superior presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data linking) and PowerPoint (advanced graphing and presentation).
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with superior attention to detail.
Self-starter, who is energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable and with the ability to work under time constraints
Strong PowerPoint skills and/or Microsoft Access
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management.
Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced and often hectic environment.
