Description
This position is an essential, strategic component of the MyBuys Sales and Marketing team. The Senior Business Development Associate (BDA) acts as a partner with the Account Directors calling on our largest prospects and clients. The Senior BDA provides frontline, outbound prospecting, lead generation, and follow up.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Relentless prospecting.
Research and develop target accounts.
Initiate the sales process via outbound and inbound communications
Create client interest, answer questions and qualify sales opportunities
Capture pertinent client data and update the Salesforce.com database
Establish and maintain relationships with the outside and inside sales teams
Work as an integral part of a team to ensure timely and successful service launch
Act as a role model for co-workers
Business Development Associates will have the ability to build their own personal business networks, gain insights into how the top online retailers operate internally and learn about cutting edge marketing tools in the e-commerce industry.
Qualifications:
College graduate with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0
2 or more years of experience in a B2B business development role
Dynamic personality with a high energy level
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
Understanding of business phone and email etiquette
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to deal with and adjust quickly to change
