Senior Business Development Manager Prosper
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager. This individual will report to the VP, Business Development and will lengage with business partners on new relationships, structure and negotiate deals, and expand and grow the reach of the Prosper?s business. This individual will grow the overall business volume from Prosper?s indirect channels, expand our partnerships into new vertical markets and new borrower types, and support Prosper?s ongoing business initiatives.
Identify partnership opportunities, forge and develop relationships to enable continued rapid growth and market expansion at Prosper.
Lead all aspects of deal execution, including prioritization of partners, strategic and product assessment, transaction structuring and negotiation.
Work with cross functional teams in engineering, product, marketing, operations, legal and finance to ensure alignment on partnerships.
Pilot new initiatives and partnerships to evaluate their feasibility and potential.
Lead initiatives from the concept phase, through evaluation, scoping and successful execution
Manage ongoing partner relationships
10+ years prior experience in business development for online marketplace, e-commerce, online or finance related businesses
Expertise in developing, analyzing and modeling business cases
Proven track record of effectively negotiating multi-million dollar business agreements and developing business relationships that impact company performance
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills. Pays attention to both detail and macro-level outcome
Strong internal and external communicator with stellar interpersonal skills
Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements, startup experience a plus
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
Can do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions.
