Ethology, a rapidly growing integrated digital marketing agency, is seeking a highly talented Senior Business Development Executive. As a member of the ethology Business Development team you will leverage your substantial consultative sales experience to target, educate, and persuade prospects to embrace ethology's unique and effective, consumer-driven digital marketing services.
This position will be responsible for regional new business development to large eCommerce, travel, education, retail clients, and major Fortune 1000 brands. Your responsibilities will include prospecting for qualified leads, developing strategic sales relationships, consultative selling, and surpassing quarterly quotas.
Ideal candidates will have substantial experience selling digital marketing and advertising services. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development.
Work collaboratively with marketing, sales operations, and strategy teams to acquire new customers.
Generate business plans to define your selling strategies and tactics.
Actively prospect qualified leads within the Eastern territory.
Establish high-level strategic relationships with targeted prospects.
Organize, orchestrate, and lead pitch teams.
Ensure all opportunities are accurately tracked in SalesForce.
Understand and adapt to the rapidly changing digital marketing industry.
Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 6 years relevant work experience).
6 years experience in digital marketing and advertising sales or account management.
Exceptional prospecting, consultative sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong work ethic.
Willing to travel.
Established relationships with qualified prospects in regional territory.
Confident in ability to close first sale within 120 days.
Agency experience selling to Fortune 1000 brands.
Deep digital marketing industry knowledge.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced agency environment.
