DriveCam is looking for a resourceful and highly-motivated individual to join DriveCam-New Ventures, a team responsible for developing key growth initiatives within the company and reporting directly to the CEO. The primary responsibilities for the position are 1) to drive progress across all growth initiatives by ensuring timely completion of key deliverables, and 2) lead targeted projects within select initiatives to accelerate growth and/or drive operational improvements. The position requires being creative and hands-on, leading and leveraging internal cross-functional teams to solve business problems in the short term, while helping to define long term solutions for scalability and efficiency.
? Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by ensuring procedural development and process reengineering, including the definition and development of process requirements.
? Deliver on strategic objectives through the prioritization and management of workload in order to deliver quality results by predetermined timelines
? Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness, and lead the introduction of operational enhancements that drive the business forward.
? Keep business leaders and other team members informed and up-to-date regarding the status/progress of initiatives, and relevant or useful information related to the operations of the business
? Identify new metrics and reports required to benchmark and track operational effectiveness of new ventures
? Lead and consult, providing advice, business expertise and recommendations on business processes
? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or related fields
? Master Degree a plus, but not required
? 5 -7 years of experience in relevant field
? Experience in transportation and/or fleet management a plus.
? An experienced leader and change catalyst with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional working groups to achieve positive business outcomes
? Demonstrated ability to identify and act upon business opportunities
? History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
? The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of customer requirements and internal processes and systems in order to solve key business problems.
? Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills to think critically and provide sound recommendations
? Advanced understanding of business workflows and the products / applications involved
? Adaptable to changing priorities and ad hoc requests
? Flexibility to travel as required
? Proficiency with MS Office PC software, Visio and other flowcharting applications
