Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working with multiple departments within the company, design business processes, design system processes, and provide automated solutions for the enterprise. Responsible for delivering internal systems, enhance employee productivity and measure efficiency improvement with automated systems. Will be responsible for managing relationship with internal clients (Sales, Support and Marketing), aligning business objectives, implement new changes and provide onsite systems' support. Will proactively gather feedback on new changes and report back to leaders. Train users on new processes and system changes, facilitate documentation and make sure the changes are implemented successfully. Job requires vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done with limited supervision.
Overall Qualifications, Responsibilities, and Desired Skills
Bachelors in Computer Science (or equivalent).
5+ years of systems analysis, design, development and support experience.
3+ years of project management and customer management experience.
Evolved from a developer role to business/systems analyst function with experience.
Project Execution and Communication
Create & manage end-to-end project plan, scope, schedule, dependencies, resources, budget, and take responsibility of overall delivery of the project
Drive project lifecycle milestones from concept commit through project closure and advocate change management
Actively drive project status reporting, issues& manage risks
Drive continuous improvement towards delivery excellence (e.g. evaluate results against metrics; recommend or implement changes to improve delivery practices/processes)
Take input from supervisor; appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback
Communicate and apply project standards. Follow existing project methodologies and invent new ones
Facilitate offshore/onshore meetings (planning, process, requirements, development, status)
Communicate goals and objects, raise red/yellow/green flags, provide constructive feedback, and drive to agreement
Ability to think and influence both at strategic and execution level
Problem Solving, Analysis and Solution Definition
Exhibit confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.
Quickly understand the functional and data requirements of our internal clients (Sales and Support teams).
Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Develop functional specifications, process flows, workflows, and system design specifications and QA plans.
Internal Client Management
Develop relationships with sales, marketing and support team leaders to align objectives.
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluates alternative business solutions and implements them using project management methodologies.
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
Manage client expectations, development team and Executives (upward) effectively.
CRM Systems and process (Lead Management, Sales Pipeline, Territory Mgmt, Ordering, Quote Mgmt, Billing, Marketing Campaigns, Email Compliance, Marketing List Mgmt, Incident Mgmt, SLA Metrics)
Business Intelligence Tools. (Familiar with DataMarts, DataWarehouse concepts, experience in analytics tool like Cognos, SAP, Hyperion etc)
Proficient in Office Tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to write basic SQL statements to pull and analyze data from a database (SQL/PLSQL)
Experience working with SaaS tools, API Development and integrations
Experience in building SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based systems and object modeling
Experience with OSS/BSS systems for subscription billing preferred
