Position SummaryWe're looking for a talented software engineer to join Nitro's dynamic desktop engineering team to help further develop our products, primarily Nitro Pro and Nitro Reader. Our engineers are delivering a new generation of PDF editing software that serves millions of users worldwide and have won numerous industry awards.
You'll be working with cutting edge technologies, and your challenges will include improving performance, optimizing and designing algorithms and delivering innovative new product features.
What you'll be doing
Creating amazing software that's being used by millions of users and customers
Developing in C++ on Windows and/or MAC
Taking ownership over a large portion of the product
Optimizing and fixing anything you find broken and important
Communicating regularly with the Product Management and QA team, contributing to shaping the product roadmap
What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience developing desktop software applications in C++
Proficiency with C/C++ development on Windows
Knowledge of math principles and programming techniques is a must
Detail-oriented (specifically with code), highly self-motivated and self-thought
Experience with PDF, HTML5 or other similar formats is a plus
A person who can work autonomously with the ability to multi task, define your own role and help wherever necessary
Someone who takes extreme pride in what they build
Experience with agile development
