Senior Channel and Government Marketing Manager Vormetric
The Senior Channel/Federal Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving and executing on company?s Global Channel Marketing and Federal Government strategy, with specific execution tied to North America and Federal Government. Working across channel, marketing and the other functions, the individual will help accelerate channel sales growth and federal government sales growth by defining, creating and executing enterprise grade B2B channel marketing campaigns and events targeted at partners and their prospects or current customers. The Manager will need to leverage positioning, messaging, buyer and partner personas and other information regarding products and services to target and generate high quality leads and pipeline. Through a mixture of creating new and nurturing existing relationships with the target audience, the Manager will need to be metrics and action focused and able to achieve target lead and pipeline generation goals and deliver defined conversion rates that generate new and incremental sales opportunities and revenue in the channel.
Develop joint Vormetric Data Security (VDS) marketing plans with partners and federal government team, implement them and track ROI
Proactively create demand generation campaigns with partners in U.S. and Fed Gov (e.g., telemarketing, e-mail, direct mail, seminars, advertising)
Manage, develop and drive communications of VDS relevant information and programs to partners ? including targeted channel and fed gov newsletters, and salesforce partner portal
Create and execute events (e.g. webcast) to communicate the latest and greatest programs/promotions ? leveraging channel and fed gov media including (CRN, GCN, FCW, Meritalk, Govinfosec)
Build and maintain a solid marketing plan and associated events calendar and budget
Work tightly with Vormetric Partner Business leaders and Channels Managers and Field/Government Sales and Marketing Managers in each territory to coordinate the planning and execution of campaigns and events.
Produce regular weekly and monthly reports, dashboards and analysis focused on achieving revenue goals, pipeline, awareness and market perception
Track leads, conversion, ROI, opportunities and revenue potential
Developing an Effective Federal Marketing Strategy
Develop targeted Marketing Messages for Government
Desired Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in relevant marketing activities for enterprise software companies
3 + years of experience in Channel/Government/Field Marketing for B2B software or technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results
Security, Storage or Networking Industry Experience required.
Must have Federal Government marketing experience
EMEA/APAC marketing experience is a plus
Quality Experience with closed-loop methodology and the hands-on utilization of CRM toolsSalesforce.com and marketing automation platform ? e.g. Marketo
Strong copy writing and editing skills
Experience with setting up and managing optimization experiments including specific examples of using A/B testing or multivariate testing that lead to an improved conversion rate.
Highly proficient with Excel and other MS Office software applications.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines
The ability to work in a collaborative environment
4 year undergraduate degree, MBA preferred
