Senior Client Manager eChalk
eChalk is a leading provider of communication and instruction software for K-12 schools. Our mission is to provide schools with the technology they need to be successful; we do this by creating software supported by exceptional people. Our Client Management team provides the key support and guidance to schools utilizing eChalk to ensure they are meeting their technology, achievement, and community outreach goals with eChalk?s SaaS platform.
eChalk is looking for a Senior Client Manager to join our Client Services organization to support K-12 schools and districts in using and adopting our SaaS communications and learning platform. The Senior Client Manager maintains his/her own account portfolio and works directly with a diverse group of schools and districts to coordinate system implementation and ongoing project management. Primary goals: client satisfaction and renewal.
S/he is responsible for ensuring customers renew and expand eChalk services and manages the renewal/contracting process for selected clients. The Senior Client Manager works with school leaders to develop goals and plans for enhanced communication and use of technology with eChalk. S/he presents to key School and District Personnel including Principals, Superintendents, and School Board members. S/he is responsible for resolving support issues, coordinating and managing service/product delivery, and delivering product news, updates, and training materials to client contacts. The Senior Client Manager will also assist with the creation of new sales proposals and help our sales team close new sales as needed.
The Senior Client Manager coordinates efforts of Professional Developers, Tech Support specialists, Data Integration specialists, Web Designers, Software Developers, and Sales and Marketing professionals to deliver high-quality service to new and existing customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate and able to present to a diverse audience, both in person and remotely
Minimum 3-5 years account and/or project management experience with demonstrated escalation of responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships and manage project teams of diverse school district and/or public sector personnel including members of IT, Communications, Curriculum and Instruction, and Senior Leadership
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to quickly analyze a situation and make recommendations
Ability to work well in a team while taking initiative individually
High comfort level with technology and Web-based applications
Experience working with K-12 schools and districts
Ability to have fun and inspire colleagues and clients through simple and complex challenges every day
Strong desire to contribute to a better teaching and learning environment in schools throughout the country
This position is based in our NYC office and requires periodic travel to work onsite with clients. The salary is commensurate with experience including a competitive benefits package and an annual bonus plan.
