Senior Composites Scientist Nanocomp Technologies

This senior level position involves fundamental research and development in carbon nanotube composites based on Nanocomps high strength CNT yarns and sheets as reinforcing materials. Responsibilities include conducting research on fabrication and processing of CNT composites, measurements of their properties, proposal writing, report writing and presentations to customers. The incumbent should be familiar with a wide range of compositing technologies, prepregging technologies, and composites property measurement techniques. The incumbent should have demonstrated accomplishments based on papers in peer reviewed journals, citations, patents, or other records of significant achievements in the field. A PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field is required with at least 5 years of experience in field.

Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and both written and oral communication skills are required. The applicant will report directly to the research director. U. S. Citizenship is mandatory.
