You win by effectively positioning INRIX in mobile distribution channels globally, driving high awareness, satisfaction, and preference for INRIX apps, achieving significant market penetration among driving smartphone users, gaining leading market share in the navigation category, and ensuring service stickiness, usage, and satisfaction via consumer engagement. As our consumer marketing manager, you will focus on the voice of the customer by gaining keen insight into needs, attitudes, and behaviors associated with our value proposition.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver overall consumer messaging and product positioning in various consumer and partner channels including app stores in over 75 countries.
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products, product releases, and updates. Plans should include brief creation, creative development, media planning, SEO/SEM collaboration and social media adaptation.
Identify, create, and deliver effective marketing programs/campaigns that achieve optimal ROI within budget.
Develop INRIX consumer marketing materials and assets including websites, decks, demos, collateral, and promotional items.
Drive coverage in consumer media and related tech press.
Evangelize INRIX apps and services and related consumer insight with partners, B2B customers, webinars, blog posts, social media outreach, and industry/media events.
Manage INRIX presence at key consumer lifestyle and tech events, auto shows, and other consumer-related marketing opportunities in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Analyze acquisition, usage behaviors, buying habits, engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Forecast and report customer, satisfaction, and usage metrics.
Analyze market dynamics, competitive offerings, and emerging use cases.
Recommend product enhancements that enable improved consumer distribution, product engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Manage overall distribution strategy across direct, web, app store, mobile, social media, and partner channels.
Manage B2B2C partner marketing channels including product placement, branding, and overall performance including co-marketing and sponsorships.
Required Skillset
You must be a highly motivated, roll-up your sleeves, self-starter with a passion for communicating new disruptive technology-oriented services to consumers in an environment with limited resources and shifting priorities. You are more motivated by action and impact than by team size, available budget, and process. You thrive on new insights, creative solutions, and measurable results. You demonstrate multicultural awareness with empathy for other view points.
Additionally, you have demonstrated the following qualifications:
5 years experience in direct-to-consumer marketing internet related services. B2B2C experience a plus.
2 years experience in mobile marketing. Experience with app store distribution for a top 25 mobile app a plus.
1 year experience in at least one digital marketing field including search, display media, affiliate marketing, blog, or social media required
Proven track record of creating distribution plans, developing marketing programs, forecasting, and managing metrics-oriented marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline.
Experience working with leading brands either directly or as distribution partners
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across a wide range of groups and functions
Strong professional creative, written, and oral communication skills including experience in public speaking and performing television interviews a plus
Deep user analytics, market research, and customer/financial tracking skills
Familiarity with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and frequent changes
Strong interpersonal, negotiating and diplomatic skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts.
Expressed passion for drivers saving time and avoiding traffic congestion required -- including the ability to explain how the INRIX product works.
Willingness to travel at least 10% for customer events and partner meetings, globally.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, liberal arts, or engineering/computer science.
International experience required. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
