Senior Content Specialist Job Description
This person is a proven content creator and strategist with a portfolio of quality writing samples who will contribute to the marketing content plan for TOA Technologies. Content mediums will include, but are not limited to, white papers, case studies, blog posts, website, video, brochures, trade show collateral, ad copy and more. This person will work with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Clearly exceptional people and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
In Addition, this person will:
Continuously assess content warehouse against company goals and manage content resources
Help to execute a strategic plan that addresses identified content gaps
Produce content that helps to start, advance and ultimately shorten the sales cycle such as white papers, case studies, videos, brochures, presentations and Web copy
Generate new search engine optimized content for the company website on an ongoing basis
Contribute to the monthly company newsletter
Drive awareness of the various content resources available and how they are intended to help in the sales cycle
Work closely with the design team, product marketing manager, the demand team, sales staff and others in the development of new content collateral
7-10 years of experience as a reporter, writer, editor or marketing communications professional
Highly skilled writer and editor with the ability to take technical information and transfer to make it easily understood
Exceptional interviewer and researcher
Terrific people skills, easily able to connect and work with anyone
Driven, never satisfied with the status quo and always working to get better
An Undergraduate Degree is required; Master?s degree in Journalism, Communications, or English will receive favorable consideration
