Instructure is a successful, fast-moving technology company that is disrupting the Learning Management System (LMS) market by setting a new standard for education technology, and we're looking for some top-notch people to join the team. Our Company has been featured on TechCrunch, CNBC, and The Motley Fool (to name a few).We are looking for a talented Senior Copywriter to work with us and help us create marketing content to be used in a variety of places including marketing campaigns, our website and in our product collateral. A familiarity with other Learning Management Systems (BlackBoard, Moodle, Desire2Learn) would be helpful but is not required. Self-sufficiency and motivation are critical for success at this fast paced company. Great writing skills, a consistent style, and high output are essential.
Successful candidates will have the following education, experience, and skills:
-Bachelor's degree in English, Advertising or related discipline
-Seven to ten (7-10) years relevant work experience in copywriting
-Require 3+ years of agency experience
-Must have experience in writing print, TV, web, branding and direct marketing materials
-Strong attention to detail, with excellent proofreading skills, is essential
-Ability to concept with an art director
-Ability to manage junior teams in the development and execution of creative projects/campaigns.
-Must have strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively before staff or other internal and external groups.
-Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams required.
-The ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment is a must.
-Must demonstrate a solid understanding of current creative media, mediums and trends.
-Must be able to read long lists. Congrats. You?ve just passed your first test.
