Senior CTI Engineer Echopass

Position Description:
Located in either Pleasanton, California or Salt Lake City, Utah, this position will support all aspects of the Genesys system and the associated infrastructure within Echopass. This position supports and enterprise environment and will be responsible for the migration and upgrades, as well as the implementation of new sites. This position will focus on the design strategies as well as the support and implementation of routing strategies for Genesys. You will act as the subject matter expert for the contact center domain which will include experiences with voice, chat, routing, provisioning, and multimedia. Position will analyze requirements and develop detailed designs for implementation.
Requirements:
BA/BS in a technical field, or related work experience, and 7 or more years of experience implementing Genesys systems in an enterprise environment
Hands on experience configuring and integrating CTI Framework, ACD, AOD, Routing, IVR/Voice Platform, Text to Speech, Speech Recognition, Dialer Strategies, Dial Modes, Reporting, Email, Chat, and Quality Monitoring into a Contact Center environment
Understanding of troubleshooting techniques and support requirements for call centers in a converged computing environment
Mastery of IP telephony integration with CTI
Sound knowledge of IP networking including WAN, LAN and Internet
Understanding of Telecommunications circuits for voice and data technologies
Excellent understanding of call routing, protocols, and provisioning
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior experience analyzing requirements and developing clear and detailed design documentation including testing and integration procedures
Previous experience in both Windows and Unix environments
Previous experience with systems administration is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of system integration between Genesys CTI, Avaya, and Cisco
Experience with Audiocodes and Acme Packet Technologies
Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of analog and digital voice equipment
Installation, maintenance, design, and support of the call center communications software and hardware
Documentation and management of call center technical designs
Coordinate upgrades and maintenance calls to outside vendors
Provide detailed reports to management on system status on all platforms
