Job Description
In this role, you will provide Customer Quality specific Analytics and operational support to the WW Customer Quality Team, drive process improvement projects involving a variety of functional groups, and manage Manufacturing?s metrics reporting requirements to ensure a constant state of readiness.
Essential functions
Customized customer metrics. Each customer requires customized metrics, many by contractual requirements. This entails detailed analysis from the IB and customization in power point.
Logistics. With the advent of new meter partners and customers the proper utilization of logistics of the RMA process is critical. Shipments per SLA on TAT commitments and by least expensive method are crucial.
Order Fulfillment. With our product line expanding it is imperative that we pre-order the anticipated failure quantity on MTBF/AFR basis as lead time surpass customer SLA?s. This analysis by each catalog number is necessary.
Vendor Management (Jabil, Plexus, GE, L&G Reynosa, L&G Australia, Secure Meters, Elster, Itron). SSN as Meter lead will be ramping up, increasing the RMA volume and workload. Will need additional resource to support the department.
FCO Management. Any FCO event can be upon us and at that time a detailed 8D requires an expedited response. No manpower exists currently to handle this information overload.
Install Base Management and continued Clean up. This is an on-going labor intensive activity that needs critical resource in terms of manpower.
International Expansion requires set up of logistics requirements, country specific compliance management, permitting, set up of ware housing requirements and management of flow.
Required Experience
Experience in the areas of operations, demand planning, reverse logistics product planning, order management, inventory management, and basic analysis
Strong analytical skills with both strategic thinking and strong tactical execution
Demonstrated ability to translate data/information into action
Demonstrated ability to lead and drive cross functional process improvements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of customer dynamics in the context of reverse logistics
Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements
Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must be a self-starter and possess excellent organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
BA/BS degree in operations or technical field
Experience working in an outsourced electronics manufacturing environment a plus
Experience with Oracle 11i a plus
Microsoft Access Database Skills a plus
APICS certification a plus
