SENIOR DATA ANALYST Magnetic
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Magnetic is looking for a talented, passionate and entrepreneurial Senior Data Analyst to strengthen our analytics infrastructure and to help build new data-driven products. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for developing proprietary insights from large data sets, conducting market research, and partnering with senior management to leverage this work to drive Magnetic?s business strategy. As the company continues to grow, this role will have substantial upside for additional responsibilities.
? Conduct market research on online advertising and e-commerce trends and work with senior management to develop insights that will drive business strategy and new product development.
? Analyze Magnetic?s search data and identify best practices around categorization and application of this data within the company?s product offerings.
? Execute research studies in certain industry verticals (e.g., Auto, CPG and Retail) to help senior management make business decisions on product enhancements and development.
? Create presentations for senior management regarding research projects statuses, recommendations and business impacts.
? Work closely with Magnetic?s partners in evaluating their data in order to extract the most value out of this data for Magnetic?s current and future products.
? Research and identify new data providers that Magnetic can partner with to improve the company?s overall business.
? Bachelor?s Degree or higher in business, mathematics, statistics or other quantitative field.
? At least 2-3 years of relevant industry experience, which could include other ad technology, marketing technology or similar types of data-driven industries.
? Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and some type of statistical package (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, R). Ability to use SQL is a nice-to-have.
? Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills.
? Effective communication skills for creating reports and delivering presentations.
? Entrepreneurial team player that can multi-task
