Role DescriptionThe Data Analyst position is responsible for ongoing analysis of ServiceSource and industry specific data, obtained from a variety of sources, including CRM, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and preparation of information products for the Client Delivery and Sales organizations. It requires the ability to analyze complex data from conceptualization through presentation of the data. It requires proficiency with analytical tools, knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of data services.
Responsibilities
Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests.
Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, maintain data assets
Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
Develop awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting SSI data assets.

ETL
Microsoft Analysis Services
Microsoft Integration Services
Microsoft Reporting Services
Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio
OLAP preferred
RDBMS
Sharepoint
Basic statistical skills, including sample size, confidence intervals, margin or error, and linear correlation/regression desirable
Deductive Reasoning
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and exercise sound business judgment
Highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, adept at managing expectations, and able to set and adjust priorities as needed
Highly motivated ?self-starter? capable of managing large pieces of a project without direct management
Keen attention to detail; ability to multitask and work effectively within a fast growing organization
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree or higher in relevant field
Undergraduate or graduate coursework in statistics, data analysis, computer science, research methods
2+ years experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software
Experience in the Technology Industry a plus
